I usually don’t eat fried food, but this place is amazing! It doesn’t taste overly greasy. The jumbo shrimp and grouper were really tasty!! I took off one star because very poor customer service. The woman taking orders was rude when asked a simple question about the menu; however, the food is so good that I forgive her, hah.

Rude, rude, rude... It seems we are all doing them a favor. So I'll do them a favor and never come back to this filthy stinky place....good luck.

Excellent prices and food, need to work on the take out timing but other than that It’s amazing!

The food is usually cooked well but I came to this restaurant and waited in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes and when I finally received my food the fries were old and cold and the shrimp was not cooked. I normally don't call in but I had felt cheated. I called back and spoke with a team member and she took my information and said to just call before I come after work and they will make another meal. I called and could'not get through the line and I was in a hurry to be somewhere on Friday after work. I call back in Monday and I spoke with the owner and he said he did not have any information and it had been over 4 days and he had a business to run . He was very rude and arrogant and said he changes out 4 to 5 cashiers a day and gets over 500 orders a day . This place has become over rated and the arrogance of the owner was very distasteful.

These people work hard to get the best quality food. I went there last Friday and it was crowded, but I got my food on time and it was fresh and delicious The girl have a short hair works very quick like professionally machine Thank you guys and keep going

Consistently have had a good experience with the food I have ordered be it chicken or seafood. Tasty.

I have had this fish before and it was ok. So when my friend brought me back there on 2/25 I didn't really want it but figured maybe my last experience was on a bad day. He and tend to have the same taste when it comes to food. The breading of the fish looked good but when I bit into it the fish was wet and didn't taste done. I immediately stopped eating it but he finish his food. Within a hour he wasn't feeling well and the next morning his stomach was ripped apart. He texted me to throw that food away and said he would never eat there again. I was here visiting and I'm glad I stopped eating or this could have messed up my trip. $26 was just wasted.

Awesome hot wings go get them

Although the food may be good, the prices and portions are rediculous. The "side salad" comes in this tiny 2 oz dressing container. Rip off. Prices are different at the restaurant than they are online. Online menu shows that large fries are $2.99, but they're actually $7.99 at the restaurant. Also the staff is very rude. I was overcharged (lunch specials are also $2 more expensive at the restaurant than the online prices show) and gave the clerk my card so she can refund me the overcharged amount, and instead she charged me more and refused to fix it! So I had to dispute with my bank. I will not be returning. There are plenty of good restaurants, the people that run this place may know how to cook, but they have no morals.

How about if you guys decide to have your restaurant on ubereats, at least update your CORRECT HOURS. 3 days in a row their hours say close at 12am, order cancelled 11:30 or 11:45. So update your hours to 11!!!!!!!! Does anybody here have a brain?

I know this is not nice to say but I really don't like hooks food no matter where they're located I just don't like their food

They didn’t give me as much fries and seasoning on top of my chicken as I’d like but the food was fresh and hot. I ordered a side of (8) hush puppies as well with my “6 wing dinner”. For faster service call ahead. They have an online menu as well. 👍🏽👍🏽

The chicken taste good but enough salt to support an ocean aquarium. The french fries are empty (my fiance insists that there not even french fries). Have you opened up one of there french fries? Open one and look inside and there is almost no potato but flat oily skin. The customer service is extremely poor. There district manager needs to call them and pretend like there a customer so they can see there is plenty of room for improvement.

Sits on the edge of the road. You can't miss it.Especially at night thanks to bright neon signs. Small place but dining area is sizable enough to accommodate a few parties. Besides, most people are in and out. The menu hangs overhead behind the greeter and displays a variety of chicken, fish, shrimp and shellfish combos. I enjoyed a combo #3 With snapper as my fish of choice, fries included. Just left of the entrance are the deserts. Cake slices and the like. I loved the shrimp 😍 😋 they're not smothered in flour like at some places. Plus prices are pretty fair. Workers and customers can be a bit loud but not a bother. I'll definitely swing by Again 👍😉

Busy place you can wait at the drive through more than 15 minutes before get your food but what can you expect when your food is always fresh and hot it's worth the time.

This place is the BOMB! I can't believe there are not more of these places as a franchise around! The food is delicious and the prices are fantastic! I usually get the calamari, shrimp, crab cake & wings... And it is instantaneous service and a drive through!

I went there two days ago with my girlfriend. The food is good but the manager is very racist and rude and doesn’t know how to deal with people . Also In addition This place is not safe, there are many homeless around who can transmit the infection easily I never thought of going back there and would not recommend it

Every time i visit south Florida Hooks is a must eat spot and never disappoints

Hook Fish and Chicken is definitely one of my favorite seafood places! The food is always hot and there's always plenty of food. The prices are great and the food tastes amazing!

Let me tell you right now , I have had wings in many many differnt places around America on Tons of road trips and hooks definitely has the best TASTE , PRICE & QUALITY that I need in my chicken thank you for still being open .

Great food, but no salads?...

I didn’t receive any dressing to go with my wings, but even that probably wouldn’t make those wings taste any better. Can definitely tell that the grease being used to fry them is old and it’s quite possible I didn’t get fresh chicken. There’s absolutely no excuse for the skin AND the bone of chicken wings to be that dark, and meat that stiff. The wing sauce was decent but that alone doesn’t make the food good. Will not be back or referring anyone here.

Hands down some of the best food I have ever had on a consistent basis. I come here for lunch, dinner and late night food. Never have I had a bad meal or have had them mess up my food. The fish is always fresh and the food is wonderfully seasoned. It’s owned by these two men and they are so friendly. I sincerely suggest coming here for some food especially if you like chicken or catfish!

Food is amazing! Prices are posted on digital screens above the service counters. Theirs a seating area with a TV showing local cable channels. Due to the popularity of this location I recommend calling ahead for faster service. The drive thru is one lane and the wait can vary depending on the length of the line and what the car in front of you is ordering. Everything's cooked when ordered so the food is always hot and DELICIOUS! Friendly staff and they move fast. As always be patient and polite.

Fried snapper is very good. Conch salad is tasty but the conch is chewy .

Poor poor customer service ,I made an order on June 24,2020 about 20 mins ago for a whole snapper that comes with fries and specifically asked at the window when I placed the other ,I told the lady not to the add the salted seasoning on the fish and she said that’s not problem , and I got the order at the window ,After I drove off 3 mins away I check The order and it was on it ,So I called them and told them the lady lied about me not saying that .After I was transfer to a person which I assumed is the head and he’s saying she works there 4 years trying to say she can’t make a mistake,and there’s nothing they can do , because it’s not on the receipt,very very unprofessional what a way to treat customer.Never Never going back there!!!!!!! I was hurt because I spend my money and couldn’t get what I asked for as a customer ,Absolutely no morals ,I salute all other good restaurants out there that owns up to a mistake and solve the problem.Never returning..

They got me and my girlfriend order wrong. I ordered a shrimp meal and a chicken wing meal. Ended up with 2 shrimp meals, fries were not cooked fully. Small ration of food given, lacks previous customer service under old management

Great Seafood! I love their big pieces of Fried Oysters(no puny oysters here) and catfish nuggets is just a great munchies killer!

Always fresh even though the wait is very long I am always satisfied. Always better to call in before picking up cuts down the waiting time.

Absolutely delicious and served fresh, they use vegetable oil so if your looking for halal it's the best place to eat seafood. Try there catfish with shrimps, tastes yummy.

great fried shrimp....fries were okay...I want to try more....a bit slow in the drive through but worth the wait...I asked for extra tarter sauce and got no tarter sauce...weird

Door dashed an order of 6 wings with fries and it was ok. I'm coming off the flu and nothing I have eaten had tasted good.. the wings were hot and fries were fresh. About $12 with tax and delivery but their menu is pretty affordable. Like I said I did floor dash delivery... anyway, food was ok. Wish my taste buds were rite tho..

One of those places that’s hard to miss. So if you’re heading east on Hillsboro Blvd and cross Dixie Highway make s U-turn because you’ve passed it. Wonderful catfish fillets, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. If you like whole chicken wings.... who doesn’t? Then order theirs. A 10 piece order is tough to contain in their styrofoam serving vessel.... yes they are that big.
